I wish I was a computer wizz !!! I managed to delete all my photos and didn't realise I could retrieve them from my recycle bin untill last week !!!! stupid I know but I suppose I make up for this faux pa in other ways (I hope). Well what a day..... Elaine and I helped our friend Kerry to come up with some pretty nifty decor ideas for her stand at Stitches, armed with Cricuts we set out to create and were treated to plenty of tea and yummy sandwiches ( love the chutney Kerry) I think we both realised how little we actually know what these machines can do. It was great fun though and lovely to help Kerry out as she is always keen to help others when they nead it. I am sure if you check out her blog http:/ladybugcraftsinkblogspot.com she will have already posted some pics as she was snapping away merrily, I hope she got my good side !!!! I promised to make some samples for the show and here are a few of what I have done so far (hope you like them Kerry)
Any way it was David's 50th birthday last week and not knowing what to get him I opted for a piper as it was Burns Night, yes I know a bit off the wall but he thoroughly enjoyed it. The piper ( Roddy ) piped Scotland the Brave and as he came around the house the music got louder and louder and David thought our CD had gone a bit haywire ! he came through the hall and into our lounge and by this time my mum realised what was going on and was jigging all around the room..... not bad for 82, the piper sat down and had a wee dram and the kids brought in his cakes, one from the kids and one from his mum, yes we are still munching our way through it. We had such a lovely time and David was so happy, I think he will definately remember his 50th !!!!
A great time was had by all !!
Any way enough of all that...... heading out tonight with Bill and Sandra who we met on holiday 4 years ago to arrange our holiday this year and I am sure we will have a great time with them as they are both a hoot and the kids are also school friends so glad rags on face made up and ready to party ......! yes you can still boogy on down at 50 (HEEHEE) What ever your all doing this weekend have fun and take care and remember to keep in touch with those close to you
