BABY ! BABY ! BABY !!!!

When I got my last dog, a Jack Russell called Aster I swore I would never have another dog as three was more than enough !!!!! WELL.................I did only say no more dogs, no mention of LAMBS !!! Eilidh and I heard a wee story about some lambs which had been rejected by there mother, sooooooooooooo you can imagine, we couldn't possibly let that happen, Bill and Ben arrived last Sunday!! Cute as buttons and so loving. Ben is the smallest and a bit shy, at least he was untill he realised that the two ladies with the bottles containing yummy white milk were really not too scary. Bill is the bolshy one and a bit slower, he was sniffing and nudging us from the first minute he laid eyes on us, it took him a bit longer to suss the feeding thing but when he finally did he was like a fiend sucking so fast he fell over himself. We have to feed them four times a day at the moment and they do not let us forget breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper, they start to bleet so loudly even the horses can hear them out in the field. Ben loves to have a cuddle after he has fed, putting his tiny nose in the crook of Eilidh's neck making a lovely snoring sound of contentment. Billy loves his cuddles also, although he is inclined to be so contented he forgets to go to his toilet space and widdles on me, accidently of course. The farmer we got them from told us he also had piglets................... What do you think, should we rescue some cute little piggies ????  My husband David just looks at me and shakes his head when I come up with these things, knowing that there is no point in trying to talk me out of it, he did help to feed them last night and I could see he enjoyed his cuddle as much as Ben did. Think I will draw the line at anything bigger, although Highland cattle ARE very beautiful !!!!!

Bolshy Bill is no: 39 and Benny boo is no: 34

Eilidh concentrating and Bill ready to demolish his dinner !

So enough ooooing and aaaaing, because of these two sweety pies the birthday card challenge I set myself has come to a grinding halt and panick has now set in, my Mums birthday is on Monday and my sisters is Tuesday !!!!!!  the first horse show of the season is on Monday also and I have three horses to bath over the weekend, one of which is light grey, well dark muddy grey at the moment, so I am stressing to the max !!!! Oh yes we are also having family for Easter lunch on Sunday and taking Mum out for dinner Monday night, what WILL I be like come Tuesday morning, think I will just have to have a day in my craft room (between feeds of course) and get crafty and creative. Kerry http://ladybugcraftsink.blogspot.com/ gave me an early birthday present of beautiful DCWV (Linen Closet) cardstock and paper which I would like to use, so I will have to get cracking and come up with some nifty ideas, watch this space !!!!!!! Anyway it is very late and I am shattered, have a lovely Easter weekend and try not to eat too many chocolate eggs.

Gorgeous lambs, brings back memories, I had triplets about 4 years ago, they were named after the muppets and were completely mad! They soon figure out what you're there for and they used to fight for the bottle! Have fun! x
