Time for Family

David the kids and I all headed off to North Wales this weekend to visit my brother and his wife, they live in a little place called Rhos-on Sea just out side Llandudno, it is very beautiful and fortunately we had lovely sunny weather all weekend. We spent our time walking the dogs on the beach, climbing the Little Orm and of course eating, drinking and just generally having fun, the last time we were there was about 18 months ago so we had a lot to catch up on, the only thing was I forgot my camera so I wasn't very pleased about that. Anyway yesterday I managed to pop into a wee craft shop in Llandudno to pick up some nice papers which I hope will make some more Christmas cards.I have posted this picture of a card Eilidh made for her friend before we left, she certainly seems to have the BUG!!!

This was her first attempt at stitching.......

And can we have a round of applause for "Baxter"........ he won the prize for the dog with the "waggiest tail" at our local show on Sunday, my friend Anjie was looking after our troops while we were away and thought  she would take Baxter for a bit of fun
Hope you weekend was as good as mine, have a great week Annette

**clap!!!** Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend, Annette - my kinda weekend! My husband's family are from North Wales but we haven't been there as a couple yet. It's been 13 years so we really make the effort to his auntie and uncles!

What a beautiful card - certainly a gift for cardmaking!

WOW!!! What an amazing job she has done on her first attempt at stitching and what a beautiful card! She obviously follows her mum for creativity :)

Nice to hear you had a good weekend and I hope no dogs stole you food this time! xx

Eilidh has obviously got your talent for making gorgeous cards! I cringe when I think about my early attempts but Eilidh's is one to be proud of. I forgot my camera last time we went away the day and I felt like my arm had been cut off:-( so annoying! Glad you had a good time though!
