Mellow Yellow

Yes it's still snowing..........as if you didn't know!!!!!!! I spent most of today trying to chase the cows out of one of my fields, the poor things are so hungry everytime I put feed out to the sheep they gallop down and crash through the fence!!!!!!! I eventually gave up and accepted I may have to adopt them too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The good thing about the weather being so bad means I get a bit more time to craft, so I set to making another card to enter into LCI challenge blog. The challenge this week involves choosing your favourite colour, in my case purple and picking the opposite colour on the colour wheel, in this case yellow, now I also like yellow but do not for some reason use it often, so I searched my stash and found some cs in both yellow and purple, they are opposites after all and decided to dust off my Cricut Expression. I bought this about 18months ago and very rarely use it. So choosing Accent Essentials I cut out 2 shaped circles and a border, popped them through the cuttlebug embossing as I go, stamped Nikki walking in the snow, added some gems, jingle bells and a sentiment and "Bobs your uncle!) Now I have never used yellow and purple as Christmas colours before but I really like it, what do you think.......It is nearly Christmas after all and I suppose anything goes..............................

You can't really see I have raised the circles from the stamped image, so another Christmas card done WOOHOO! only 80 more to go!!!!! Right that's me for today off to watch "I'm a celebrity" Hope you all keep safe in the snow Annette
